So you have spectrum, or access to it, and a plan for private LTE or 5G. The question is the core. If it lives in an external data centre or depends on a carrier's platform, your local network depends on a link you do not control — and the data you wanted to keep on-site does not stay on-site. You also need it on hardware you can specify and maintain, not a proprietary chassis with a contract sized for a national operator.
